Our Story
Born backstage, raised on run sheets
Mealworks Events started twelve years ago with two freelance producers, a borrowed van and a shared irritation: Malaysian companies were paying premium money for photocopied events. The first client took a chance on an annual dinner with no ballroom, no lucky draw and no emcee in a sequinned jacket. Attendance the following year doubled.
Today we're a team of eighteen — planners, designers, technical producers and the industry's most stubborn logistics manager — delivering over forty events a year across Malaysia. The van has been upgraded. The irritation, usefully, has not.
