Terms & Conditions

Last revised: 3 June 2026

These terms govern your use of mealworks.pro and, unless superseded by a signed agreement, the engagement of Mealworks Events Sdn. Bhd. ("Mealworks") for event services. By using this site or engaging us, you accept them.

1. About this website

Content on mealworks.pro — text, case studies, imagery and guides — is provided for general information. It describes our services honestly but does not constitute a quotation or an offer capable of acceptance. Figures cited in case studies relate to specific past events and do not promise equivalent results.

2. Intellectual property

All site content belongs to Mealworks or its licensors. You may read, share links and quote short excerpts with attribution. Reproducing whole pages, guides or images for commercial purposes requires our written consent.

3. Proposals and engagement

  • Every engagement begins with a written proposal setting out scope, deliverables, schedule and fees. Work starts when the proposal is signed and the mobilisation invoice is settled.
  • Proposals remain valid for 30 days; venue availability and supplier pricing quoted within them can only be held once contracted.
  • Changes to a confirmed scope are handled by written variation order with cost and schedule impact stated before you approve.

4. Client responsibilities

Timely decisions keep events on schedule. Clients agree to meet the approval deadlines in the project timeline, to provide accurate guest numbers by the dates specified, and to hold any permits or rights that only the client can obtain (for example, rights to music or footage the client supplies).

5. Cancellation and postponement

  • Cancellation charges follow the schedule in each proposal, reflecting costs already committed to venues and suppliers at the date of cancellation.
  • Postponements are re-scoped rather than cancelled where we can; supplier fees for date changes are passed through at cost.
  • Where an event is prevented by circumstances beyond either party's reasonable control, both parties will negotiate in good faith to reschedule before any cancellation terms apply.

6. Liability

We carry public liability insurance appropriate to the events we produce and will supply certificates on request. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.

7. Confidentiality

Briefs, budgets and guest information you share with us stay confidential. We publish case studies only in general terms or with your consent — client names are withheld where requested, as several on this site are.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Kuala Lumpur have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that we cannot first resolve by good-faith discussion.
